We are excited to announce that we were able to donate $500 to Mrs. Davis's Classroom. With these funds, she was able to get all the supplies needed for her 2023-24 school year. Thank you so much for your generosity!

 

Adopt A Classroom is People with Power's Back To School Campaign. As we all know, the 2023-24 school year is quickly approaching and we are kicking off our 3rd annual Adopt-A-Classroom Campaign. This campaign will assist in the funding of educational tools required to run an outstanding learning environment.

 

Did you know, on average first year teachers spend around $800 of their personal finances to purchase supplies for their classroom? As a student who grew up in the public education system, I understand what having the proper tools in the classroom setting can do to enhance an educational experience. Since the inception of our organization, People with Power strives to combat the issues presented in our community. So, without further ado, we are proud to announce that the teacher selected for the 2023-24 academic year is Mrs. Shania Davis of Hal Hutchens Elementary School. We are so excited empower Shania through donations of any kind.  PWP also would like to congratulate her on her new journey of empowering the youth.
